MUSIC & MOVEMENT

Where children find the joy in music and movement

Some children hum before they talk. Some can't sit still the moment a beat kicks in. Music & Movement is a space for all of it — singing, drumming, dancing, and making joyful noise, simply because it feels good. It's open to any child, whether or not they're already part of the Miami Supreme family.

HOWEVER THEY SHOW UP

Loud days and quiet days

Some children walk in ready to drum the walls down. Others want to sit at the edge of the room and just listen for a while. Neither is behind. Neither is too much. Every child takes part in the way that fits them today.

Every point on this line is exactly right.

WHAT THIS IS

Music for the love of it

A place to play, not perform

A warm program where children explore sound, rhythm, and movement at their own pace. There's no sheet music, no right notes, and no pressure to perform — just the joy of joining in, however your child likes to do it.

TO BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT THIS IS

Music & Movement is enrichment, not clinical therapy. The people who lead it aren't therapists, it doesn't replace ABA or any medical care, and it isn't billed to insurance. It's simply a joyful place to play and belong.

WHAT A SESSION CAN HOLD

A little of everything, or one thing all day

Sing

Songs, humming, silly voices, and call-and-response — finding a voice that's all their own.

Drum & shake

Hand drums, shakers, and tapping out a rhythm — loud, soft, fast, slow, whatever feels right today.

Move

Swaying, marching, spinning, freezing on cue — letting the music move the whole body.

Listen

Sometimes the whole visit is just taking the sound in from a comfortable spot. That counts, every bit as much.

Rest

A break whenever it's needed — to step away, cover ears, or come back later. No questions asked.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Unhurried, and led by your child

There's no schedule a child has to keep up with here. We start where your child is. If they want to lead the song, they lead. If they'd rather hum from the corner for the first few visits, that's just fine too.

Families are welcome to take part, or to sit back and watch their child light up. Either way, you don't have to explain your child here. You don't have to apologize for them. You just get to enjoy them.

WHO LEADS IT

Warm, patient, and glad your child is here

The people who lead Music & Movement are chosen the same way we choose everyone at Miami Supreme — for warmth first. They're patient. They meet children where they are. They know that a child who needs to move, or cover their ears, or take a break isn't a problem to fix.

What matters most here isn't talent or background — it's that your child feels safe enough to try, and glad they came. That's the whole job, and the people who lead this program are wonderful at it.

WHERE IT HAPPENS

Wherever the sound feels right

Some children settle fastest at home; others love having a room built for noise. Many do both.

Right at home

We bring the instruments to a room your child already knows. For a child who warms up slowly, starting somewhere familiar can make all the difference between watching and joining in.

A room set up for sound and movement, where loud is allowed and there's space to march, spin, and let go. Some children blossom the moment they have room to be big.

GOOD TO KNOW

How to join

Who can take part?

Any child is welcome — whether or not they're enrolled in ABA with us, and whether or not they have a diagnosis. Music & Movement is open to our families and to the wider community.

Is it covered by insurance?

No. Music & Movement is an enrichment program, not a clinical service, so it isn't billed to insurance. It's offered separately. Reach out and we'll walk you through availability and scheduling.

Does my child need any musical experience or ability?

None at all. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to be good at. Every child is welcome exactly as they are.

How do we get started?

Reach out to our team and we'll tell you about current openings, where sessions are happening, and how to join. No commitment to ask a question.

Come make some noise with us
